Greenberg Traurig’s Alison Elko Franklin Co-Chairs Turnaround Management Association Distressed Investing Conference

ATLANTA – Feb. 3, 2024 –Alison Elko Franklin, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice, has been named a co-chair for the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Distressed Investing Conference Feb. 11-14 at the Encore at the Wynn in Las Vegas.

Franklin is a long-time leader of the association at both the regional and global levels. She previously served as chair of the TMA Atlanta Chapter, as well as a chair and founding member of its NextGen Committee. At TMA Global, Franklin serves on the Network of Women Committee and was recently appointed as Global Trustee for the Association’s Board of Trustees.

The 2025 TMA Distressed Investing Conference is the leading event for networking and dealmaking in the turnaround, restructuring, and distressed investing world, according to the organization. Over four days, the conference offers opportunities to engage with industry professionals, including deal partners and capital providers, from around the globe; strengthen existing relationships; and meet with thought leaders, the TMA Network of Women, and TMA NextGen.

At Greenberg Traurig, Franklin focuses her practice on advising debtors, trustees, creditors’ committees, and creditors in corporate reorganizations, municipal reform, creditors’ rights litigation, and distressed transactions. She represents clients in Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 9 municipal debt adjustments, Chapter 15 cross-border insolvency proceedings, and Chapter 7 liquidations.
