SAN FRANCISCO – Dec. 7, 2021 – Lindsay E. Hutner, shareholder and co-chair of global law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Labor & Employment (L&E) Practice’s Employment Litigation & Trials Group, and Philip I. Person, shareholder and co-chair of the firm’s Restructuring & Employment Due Diligence Subgroup, will speak at the 2021 Wage & Hour Litigation and Management Conference hosted by Bridgeport Continuing Education Dec. 10. Hutner, who will also co-chair the event, will be presenting on new legislative updates applicable to California wage and hour law. Person will speak on a panel titled “Wage & Hour Issues Affecting Low Wage Workers.”
The annual conference will offer panel discussions on current topics such as the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA); wage and hour litigation relating to remote workers and teleworkers as well as low-wage workers; the California Supreme Court’s ruling on the courier service Dynamex and its implications for the gig economy; individual, franchise, and joint employer liability; exemptions; and more.
