WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sept. 21, 2026 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP continues the strategic growth of its Government Law & Policy Practice in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office with the addition of former U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Senior Advisor Campbell Genn. She joins the firm with significant experience as a trusted advisor to government leaders, CEOs, and government affairs professionals on food, nutrition, trade, and agricultural policy issues across the full farm-to-fork supply chain. Genn joins Greenberg Traurig as a Senior Director.
Genn previously served as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the USDA, where she counseled Cabinet leadership on national nutrition policy, supply-chain resilience, and food safety, and led advocacy efforts for food industry trade associations, giving her insight into the regulatory and legislative landscape across the federal government. Her experience working with Congress, the USDA, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and key regulatory bodies gives her deep credibility with policymakers throughout Washington. Combined with her understanding of the domestic and international issues relating to food, nutrition, trade, and agricultural products, Genn is well positioned to help clients navigate and shape policies affecting their ability to produce safe, affordable, and nutritious food.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Genn served as Senior Director of Government Relations for the American Bakers Association, leading advocacy for the association’s member companies, and was the Senior Director of Nutrition Policy for the Sugar Association, advocating for the nation’s sugar growers, processors, and refiners.
That experience allows Genn to bring her strategic, business-minded insights to clients across a broad spectrum of emerging issues, including federal nutrition programs (SNAP, WIC, and school meals); USDA and FDA labeling initiatives; the administration’s proposed definition of “ultra-processed foods”; food safety regulations; the Farm Bill; agricultural trade; and the importance of establishing science-based policies for food and nutrition.
