On Wednesday, January 11, 2023 Michelle Ferreira will speak on a panel titled "Split Dollar Is Still Alive and Kicking – Fundamentals and Intergenerational Update". Twenty years after final regulations, the panel will summarize the uses of split dollar life insurance premium financing, explain when economic benefit or loan regimes make sense and discuss income and transfer tax consequences. The recent pro-taxpayer Tax Court intergenerational split dollar decision will be highlighted by the attorney who tried the case.
