RE-STRUC

RE-STRUC is a multidisciplinary team within Greenberg Traurig comprising focus areas including real estate, restructuring, including WHOA (“Dutch Restructuring Scheme”), financing, conflict management, alternative dispute resolution, RICS accredited mediation services, regulatory and tax. The team's primary focus is Real Estate Restructuring and Dynamic Process Management.

The team leverages its broad and in-depth experience of the (international) real estate industry, advising property developers, institutional investors and investment managers, banks, debt funds, private equity funds, REITs, operators, joint ventures and private owners through the economic cycles, being very well-positioned to advise on how to address a variety of issues that arise in times of economic distress but also how to seize the opportunities that present themselves in those times.

RE-STRUC professionals are proactively advising clients to protect themselves through (i) (re)structuring transactions while still on the drawing board, (ii) anticipatory contracting while negotiating documentation, (iii) stakeholder management during the lifecycle of the project / investment; and (iv) innovative in- and out-of-court restructurings of debt and other liabilities.
