Brian L. Helweil represents owners, developers, investors, landlords, and tenants in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions across the United States. His practice focuses on sophisticated commercial office and retail leasing, including headquarters leases, ground leases, subleases, assignments, and industrial net leases. He also advises clients on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and other complex real estate matters.

Brian has represented both landlords and tenants in significant leasing transactions in New York and nationwide. His experience includes office and retail properties in key New York City markets, including Fifth Avenue, SoHo, and the Meatpacking District, as well as large-scale headquarters and office leasing matters across the country.

In addition, Brian advises clients in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily, industrial, retail, and mixed-use properties and portfolios. He guides transactions from due diligence through closing and advises on related joint venture and corporate documentation. Brian also has experience advising landlords on leasehold condominium conversions for tax purposes.
