Anne E. Martinez

Anne E. Martinez defends employers in single plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation litigation across the United States. She has litigated more than 300 such cases in federal and state trial courts and before administrative agencies, and she has many years of experience managing multiple national employment litigation portfolios of work and projects. Employers turn to Anne for both her courtroom experience and the practical judgment she brings to managing litigation at scale.

Beyond the courtroom, Anne counsels employers on the full range of labor and employment issues. She advises on accommodation requests, performance improvement plans, adverse employment decisions, reductions in force, severance and settlement agreements, and strategies for avoiding litigation. She also conducts internal investigations, revises employee handbooks and other employment policies, and drafts non-compete, employment, and separation agreements. She prepares and conducts training programs on anti-harassment policies and other employment law issues like best practices for conducting internal investigations. 

Anne is admitted to practice in Florida, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. She served as editor-in-chief of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Labor and Employment Law.
