Shira Yoshor and Angeles Cassin Present on Joint Employment Risks at HR Houston Event

HOUSTON – FEB. 20, 2019 – Shira R. Yoshor and Angeles G. Cassin of the Houston office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will explain how to reduce the risks of joint employment status at an HR Houston - Human Resource Management Association event.

The two employment lawyers will advise companies on the legal and financial implications of joint-employer status. The session will explain what tests are used to gauge joint employment and how to avoid legal complications.

Yoshor is a shareholder with experience representing companies and organizations in virtually all aspects of labor and employment law. She regularly provides counsel to employers on matters such as managing workplace issues, draft employment agreements, handbooks, policies, and claims involving restrictive covenants.

Cassin is an associate whose practice focuses on commercial litigation as well as labor and employment matters. In her preventative employment practice, she advises clients and defends against claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Older Workers Benefits Protection Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
