Shira focuses her practice on labor and employment matters and a wide variety of complex commercial litigation. She is experienced in representing management in virtually all aspects of labor and employment law. She regularly counsels employers on managing workplace issues, drafts employment agreements, handbooks and policies, drafts and litigates whistleblower claims, discrimination and retaliation claims, and  claims involving all sorts of restrictive covenants. Shira partners with her clients to help them achieve their strategic business and legal goals wherever they face challenges. She provides a wide range of services from initial counseling to investigation, from agency hearings to trials, continuing through the appellate process.

Shira also has broad experience in complex commercial cases of various types. She has, for example, defended pharmaceutical companies against claims involving medications and biologics, represented landowners in suits involving the condemnation of their property and other landlord/tenant issues, and defended consumer class action claims and trademark infringement claims.
