MIAMI – Oct. 7, 2026 – Three shareholders from global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A.’s Miami office will be honored with “Circle of Excellence” awards by the Miami-Dade Bar Association. Carlos L. Diaz will be recognized in the “Environmental and Land Use” category, Alan T. Dimond in the “Civil Litigation” category, and Sabrina R. Gallo in the “Health Law” category.
The annual award program recognizes Florida-based attorneys and paralegals who exemplify exceptional professional performance, according to the organization. The selection process included independent research, peer evaluation of nominated attorneys, and a vote by members of the Miami-Dade Bar Association. Winners will be recognized at the Miami-Dade Bar Association Awards Ceremony, to be held Nov. 18 at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.
Diaz is a shareholder in the firm’s Land Use Practice. He represents developers, landowners, institutions, and businesses in a broad range of land use, zoning, environmental, and governmental matters throughout Florida. Diaz guides clients through all phases of the development process, including due diligence, subdivision approvals, zoning entitlements, and permitting for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Dimond is a shareholder in the firm’s Litigation Practice. He has more than 50 years of experience handling commercial and real estate-related litigation, including construction disputes, municipal and governmental litigation, and property tax appeals. Dimond represents a broad range of clients, including real estate developers, financial institutions, governmental entities, and national companies.
Gallo is chair of the Miami Product Liability & Mass Torts Litigation Practice. She is a nationally recognized trial lawyer who represents clients in product liability, toxic tort, class action, and other complex litigation matters in federal and state courts. Her practice also includes health care litigation involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and other health-related products.
