Sabrina R. Gallo is Chair of the Miami Products Liability Practice, and a shareholder in the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Health Care Litigation Practice. As a trial lawyer in multimillion-dollar litigation, she concentrates her practice on the representation and defense of products liability cases, with an emphasis on representing manufacturers of medical devices and pharmaceuticals in state and federal courts nationwide. Sabrina has experience managing individual, nationwide and mass tort litigation involving a variety of medical devices including infusion and insulin pumps, mesh, vascular products, and other medical devices and implants, as well as pharmaceuticals including chemotherapy medications and hormone replacement therapy. Sabrina also regularly counsels manufacturers regarding review and drafting of appropriate warning language for product recalls, reporting and labeling, compliance with state and federal regulatory laws, Medicare Secondary Payer Act compliance and litigation, and other pre-litigation matter.
Sabrina leads national teams in complex litigation from pre-suit negotiations up through trial, developing case strategy and all aspects of fact and expert discovery. She handles high-stakes, single-plaintiff cases as well as mass torts, including multi-district litigations, coordinated state actions, class actions and remanded cases for trial.
Her experience in this industry for two decades has allowed her to focus on achieving the right outcome for her clients in litigation. Whether that involves creative and strategic resolutions strategies or defending hundreds of remanded individual cases across the nation, Sabrina listens to her client’s needs – both for their business and in litigation – to advocate on their behalf and pursue each client’s legal goals.
