Sofiya Bumagin is a Shareholder in the London Energy Practice, advising private equity and other private capital providers on infrastructure and private equity M&A transactions. She has significant experience across all infrastructure verticals, spanning investments in energy assets (including battery storage and district heating), digital infrastructure (including towers, data centers, and fibre), transport, and core plus infrastructure, as well as transactions involving voluntary carbon markets.

Sofiya has also advised on ESG matters and previously undertaken a one-year secondment to a leading private equity infrastructure fund, as well as worked in-house as a legal director at a global investment group, where she supported the infrastructure investment team.
