Candra M. Connelly

Candra M. Connelly is a member of the Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Portland office. Candra represents companies and other clients in complex commercial litigation, regulatory and administrative matters, government investigations, and other high-stakes disputes. Her commercial litigation practice encompasses contract and business disputes, trade secret and unfair competition claims, business torts, and other disputes arising from complex commercial relationships. She represents plaintiffs and defendants through all stages of litigation, from pre-suit counseling and case assessment through complex discovery, motion practice, evidentiary proceedings, and trial preparation.

Candra also regularly assists clients navigating regulatory, administrative, and investigative matters. She represents clients in administrative proceedings and hearings and advises clients responding to government inquiries, investigations, and enforcement activity. Her experience includes matters involving substantial factual and evidentiary records and the intersection of regulatory requirements, litigation strategy, and clients’ broader business objectives.

Candra also represents clients and non-parties in connection with subpoenas and third-party discovery. She advises on issues involving the scope of discovery and compliance obligations, confidentiality and privilege, and the collection and production of electronically stored information. She has experience negotiating the scope of discovery requests, managing complex document productions, and addressing discovery issues involving sensitive or confidential business information.

In addition, Candra has deep experience in media and First Amendment litigation, including representing news organizations in defamation and other publication-related claims arising from newsgathering and publication. Candra practices in federal and state courts and before administrative bodies.
