Jack N. Frost, Jr. focuses his practice on products liability, toxic tort, and mass tort litigation. As a skilled litigator and trial attorney, Jack serves as national, regional, and local counsel, coordinating the defense and trial of cases for Fortune 500 companies, business leaders, and small enterprises alike. His practice spans domestic and international manufacturing and pharmaceutical companies, particularly defending against claims related to talc, asbestos, drug, and other chemical or mass-tort injuries.

In addition to his core litigation and trial practice, Jack has a thriving practice in:

  • Public and Private finance, representing borrowers in both traditional and nontraditional financings, including structured and multitiered financings, bonds, public securities, lines of credit, new markets tax credits, and other debt issuance instruments
  • Defending financial institutions under regulatory investigation
  • Estate fiduciary litigation, negotiating and litigating complex trust and estate disputes, including will and trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty claims, demands for accountings, and interpretation of testamentary instruments—primarily representing trust and estate beneficiaries

Throughout his career, Jack has handled a wide range of representative matters, including high-profile products liability litigation, shareholder class actions, commercial disputes, and insurance litigation. He is known for his strategic counsel and ability to navigate complex legal challenges for his clients.

Jack’s core practice is serving his clients as national coordinating and settlement counsel, overseeing and implementing litigation strategies that are uniquely tailored to pursue each client’s independent goals. Jack’s core clients consist of domestic and international manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and supply/retail companies against claims of talc, asbestos, drug, and other chemical and mass-tort-related injuries.

With a trial focus on the eastern seaboard, Florida, Illinois, and California, Jack also brings territory-specific trial insights to his cases, having defended and tried cases in multiple states.

Public and Private Finance

Jack represents and counsels clients, especially charter school borrowers, with respect to nontraditional and traditional financings, including:

  • Structured and multitiered financing
  • Bonds and other public securities
  • Lines of credit
  • New markets tax credits
  • Other debt issuance instruments, including private fund investment, typically tied to project capital investment or development

Estate Litigation

Over the past decade, Jack has carved out a healthy trust, probate, and conservatorship litigation practice, handling:

  • Litigation and disputes involving trusts, decedents’ estates and conservatorships
  • Will and trust contests
  • Breach of fiduciary duty and removal of fiduciary claims
  • Demands for accountings
  • Interpretation of testamentary instruments, principally representing trust and estate beneficiaries
