Andrew Huynh represents clients in complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts nationwide. His practice spans a wide range of matters, including securities and M&A litigation, antitrust and RICO claims, corporate governance disputes, regulatory investigations and enforcement actions, and class action defense.
He advises public and private companies and other sophisticated clients in bet-the-company cases and matters involving significant financial and operational exposure. Andrew has deep experience litigating cases through trial and appeal.
Andrew also maintains a pro bono practice representing clients in civil rights actions and in defending against petitions under the International Child Abduction Remedies Act (ICARA).

Experience
- Representing Grip Mobility in prosecuting trade secret misappropriation and unfair business practices claims against Uber Technologies, Inc.
- Represented an insurance and asset management company and its CEO in civil RICO litigation in the Southern District of New York; won reversal of an asset-freezing preliminary injunction before the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.°
- Represented Robinhood in multidistrict putative class actions alleging antitrust, securities market manipulation, and commercial tort claims arising from the “meme stock” purchasing restrictions in January 2021; secured dismissals with prejudice of the antitrust and state-law “tranches” of actions, which dismissals were each affirmed by the Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.°
- Represented Qualcomm in antitrust actions filed by the FTC and Apple relating to Qualcomm’s patent licensing program and its modem chip sales practices; won on appeal before the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and favorably settled the Apple litigation on the first day of trial.°
- Represented certain Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans in multidistrict class actions alleging antitrust claims relating to the Blue Cross Blue Shield systems’ use of exclusive service areas for member plans.°
- Represented Avon Products in a putative securities fraud class action relating to disclosures concerning Avon’s Brazil line of business.°
- Represented an award-winning, Sonoma-based craft beer company in a contract dispute with its former distributor; obtained a favorable jury verdict after a three-week trial in the San Francisco Superior Court.°
