Akiesha Gilcrist Sainvil

Akiesha Gilcrist Sainvil focuses her practice on defending medical device, pharmaceutical, and consumer products manufacturers in high-stakes complex products liability and mass torts litigation. She also has deep experience representing major retailers, transportation companies, financial and health care institutions, and insurance providers, among many other industries, in complex commercial litigation matters based in federal and state courts across the United States, and in arbitration.

In addition to her litigation practice, Akiesha devotes herself to the advancement and promotion of diversity in the legal profession through her service as a mentor and advocate for young and aspiring lawyers. She currently represents the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), an organization with that exact goal in mind, as a City Lead for Miami’s LCLD alumni. She also serves as a Miami City Lead for the LCLD’s Success in Law School Mentoring Program.
