2022 International Trademark Association (INTA) Conference

Greenberg Traurig Intellectual Property & Technology Shareholders Tiffany D.W. Shimada and Marc H. Trachtenberg presented sessions during the Annual INTA meeting in Washington, DC. On May 1, Tiffany spoke during the Professor-Practitioner Debate: Resolved: Brand owners should be legally entitled to control depictions of their branded goods and services in creative works and was voted the winner of the debate via audience applause. Marc spoke on “The Business of Brands: Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and NFT Breakdown – What You Need to Know” panel on May 2. The session focused on the impact, risk, and potential value of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFTs.
