BOSTON – Feb. 17, 2026 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP hosted a climatetech tax incentives program in the firm’s Boston office Jan. 21. Co-hosted by Mass Mobility Hub, the event provided an in-depth overview of the newly available Commonwealth of Massachusetts Climatetech Tax Incentive Program and focused on how companies can effectively apply for, compete for, and maximize the use of these incentives.
The panel, which featured Greenberg Traurig Of Counsel Robert C. Ross and Shareholder Eric W. Macaux, offered a practical and educational forum for companies seeking to understand and capitalize on these opportunities, while also increasing awareness of the program across our broader network. The panel also featured Jamey Tesler of the Mass Mobility Hub and senior leadership from the Massachusetts Office of Economic Development and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.
Ross advises businesses and other organizations in a wide range of complex regulatory, governance, and transactional matters. He assists both established and emerging businesses and nonprofits looking to do business in Massachusetts, especially those in highly regulated areas, such as energy and education, and shares his governmental experience with clients who depend on his insights. Macaux focuses his practice on energy and energy-adjacent project development and transactions, including joint venturing, project mergers and acquisitions, “platform”-style investments, and negotiation of critical project agreements. His clients include project sponsors, developers, and investors and span renewable and advanced conventional energy businesses, including solar, storage, wind (onshore and offshore), liquid natural gas, biofuels, water, and electric vehicles. In addition to his transactional work, Macaux also assists clients with key commercial agreements, including power purchase agreements.
