Alexandra Alayche is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation & International Arbitration practice. She advises clients on a wide range of commercial disputes, with experience before the DIFC Courts, ADGM Courts and the onshore UAE Courts, as well as international arbitration proceedings conducted under leading institutional rules.
Alexandra is dual-qualified in common law and civil law, having obtained both a Juris Doctor (Common Law) and a Licentiate in Law (Civil Law) from the University of Ottawa. Her bi-jural background allows her to effectively navigate disputes involving different legal systems and provides a strong foundation for advising on cross-border matters.
During her time at the University of Ottawa, Alexandra was actively involved in mentorship initiatives and participated in pro bono legal projects through Pro Bono Students Canada. She also held several research positions in both academic and public institutions, contributing to legal research and policy projects across multiple areas of law.
