Alexandra Alayche is an associate in the firm’s Litigation & International Arbitration practice. She is building a dispute resolution and litigation practice, with experience in handling professional liability claims and coverage disputes, with a particular focus on legal malpractice and property insurance matters.
Alexandra’s diverse legal background spans both transactional and litigation matters. She has advised clients on regulatory compliance matters, assisting them in navigating regional and industry-specific standards. Additionally, she has provided counsel on acquisitions, joint ventures, and various commercial agreements. Alexandra has also drafted policies for emerging companies and offered strategic guidance to align business practices with evolving legislative frameworks.
During her time at the University of Ottawa, Alexandra was actively involved in mentor services and participated in several placements with Pro Bono Students Canada. She also held various research roles in both the academic and public sector, contributing to projects across multiple areas of law. Her academic excellence was recognized with the Dean’s Excellence Award and her placement on the Dean’s Honour List.
Alexandra is qualified as a Solicitor and Barrister with the Law Society of Ontario. She holds dual qualifications in common law (Juris Doctor) and civil law (Licentiate in Law) from the University of Ottawa.
