Annemarie Garrett focuses on intellectual property, civil, and commercial litigation matters. She has experience developing strategy and drafting motions, briefs, and memoranda for various legal proceedings, including patent litigation, trademark infringement cases, and domain name disputes. Annemarie’s intellectual property work also includes drafting cease and desist letters regarding patent and trademark infringement, assisting with Markman hearings by developing arguments for proper construction of patent claim terms, and preparing licenses. She has advised a multi-national client on domestic and international IP strategy and enforcement. Annemarie also has a background in understanding complex medical issues for medical malpractice defense.
She is admitted to practice law in Utah and is proficient in Japanese. Annemarie has volunteered as a teacher for high school students through BYU Law Camp.
