Profile
John Hannon is a litigator who handles complex commercial disputes in federal and state trial courts, arbitral forums, and appellate proceedings. He brings a combination of private practice trial experience and deep appellate insight drawn from multiple federal clerkships. His practice spans antitrust, products liability, and high-stakes business litigation, and he has represented clients ranging from multinational corporations to individuals in pro bono matters.
John’s appellate perspective is shaped by three federal clerkships. He most recently served as a career law clerk to the Hon. Carolyn McHugh of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, for whom he also clerked earlier in his career. He also clerked for the Hon. Jill N. Parrish on the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah.
John graduated magna cum laude from Duke University School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and served on the editorial board of the Duke Law Journal.
