Sameshnee Pelly, Ph.D. is a patent agent focused on strategic patent portfolio development, particularly in the areas of small molecules, chemical synthesis processes, and pharmaceutical formulations, and their manufacture. She has deep experience in drafting patent applications as well as prosecuting patent applications in the United States and managing parallel prosecution in foreign jurisdictions. After concentrating her studies on synthetic organic chemistry, she took up a position in the prestigious Liotta research group at Emory University, where her primary role involved managing the group’s drug discovery patent portfolio. Prior to joining GT, Sameshnee was a patent agent at an Atlanta firm where she focused on preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the pharmaceutical and inorganic chemistry fields.
