Greenberg Traurig’s Laura Foote Reiff Named U.S. Chamber of Commerce Immigration Committee Chair

McLEAN, Va. – May 15, 2023 –Laura Foote Reiff, co-founder of the Immigration & Compliance Practice of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was named chair of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Subcommittee on Immigration. Reiff has been a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Labor Relations Committee for 24 years and has been an active member of the Immigration Committee throughout.

During her two-year tenure, Reiff will work with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on business-friendly immigration legislation reforms and advocacy at federal agencies, including the U.S. Departments of State, Homeland Security, and Labor. She will lead efforts to shape the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s immigration policy and advocacy agenda, benefiting American businesses, workers, and communities.

Reiff has more than 32 years of experience representing businesses and organizations in the business immigration and compliance field. She is also a business immigration advocate and has long chaired prominent business immigration coalitions. She chairs the Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. Immigration & Compliance Practice and is co-managing shareholder of the firm’s Northern Virginia Office. Reiff has served on the boards of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Immigration Council, the National Immigration Forum, and is currently the chair of the America is Better Board.
