Greenberg Traurig Advises Volkswagen Leasing on MXN 2.5B Long-Term Debt Certificate Issuance

MEXICO CITY – Oct. 20, 2026 – Attorneys from global law firm Greenberg Traurig’s Mexico office advised Volkswagen Leasing in connection with the issuance of MXN 2.5 billion in long-term debt certificates. The certificates bear interest at a variable rate and were issued under Volkswagen Leasing’s recurring issuer program through the Mexican Stock Exchange (Bolsa Mexicana de Valores).

Casa de Bolsa BBVA México, Grupo Financiero BBVA México, and Scotia Inverlat Casa de Bolsa, Grupo Financiero Scotiabank Inverlat, participated as underwriters in the issuance.

The transaction follows Greenberg Traurig’s representation of Volkswagen Leasing in previous debt certificate offerings in Mexico, including two joint issuances completed in 2025 under a short- and long-term debt certificate program through the Mexican Stock Exchange.

Capital Markets Shareholder David Argueta led the Greenberg Traurig team in Mexico and Associate Andres Gallastegui supported with preparing the transaction’s legal documentation.
