Jordan W. Cowman to Present at Gulf Coast Symposium on HR

HOUSTON – July 25, 2022 – Jordan W. Cowman, a Labor & Employment Practice shareholder in the Dallas office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will present at the Gulf Coast Symposium on HR Issues July 27-28.

Cowman will discuss "Top 10 International Mistakes That May Get You Fired," July 27 from 8:45 - 9:45 a.m. in a session set to cover the costly mistakes others have made in cross-border employment matters.

The Gulf Coast Symposium on HR Issues is the largest regional conference for human resources (HR) professionals on the Gulf Coast, according to its website. The two-day conference, produced by HR Houston, is attended by industry practitioners, providers, and presenters.

Cowman co-chairs the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice’s International Employment, Immigration & Workforce Strategies Group. A long-time U.S. business representative to the United Nations’ International Labor Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, Cowman is sought by businesses when issues arise concerning labor and employment litigation, counseling and compliance, including international and cross-border employment matters, corporate social responsibility, corporate campaigns, and environmental, social, and corporate governance issues. He has assisted clients both domestically and internationally with business combinations, merger and acquisition due diligence, supply chain issues, the linkage between labor rights and trade, the eradication of forced labor and United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement issues.
