Kerri L. Barsh is quoted in a South Florida Business Journal article titled “New Florida Law Could Speed Approval of Golf Course Redevelopment.”
Regarding Florida’s Infill Redevelopment Act, which seeks to speed up approval of residential development on environmentally impacted sites, Barsh said, “The legislative intent was [to focus] on stranded [contaminated] parcels that are surrounded by residential. This is an opportunity for a lot of these sites to get a boost…” and be re-purposed to a compatible, residential use.
