MN CLE's The Contract Law 50: The 50 Contract Cases Every Lawyer Must Know Inside and Out

Minneapolis Greenberg Traurig attorneys Arleen Nand, Michael Krauss, Johanna Hyman, and Chelsey Hanson will present at the Minnesota CLE program, “The Contract Law 50: The 50 Contract Cases Every Lawyer Must Know Inside and Out” on Thursday, August 18. Arleen Nand and Johanna Hyman will present the session, "Offer and Acceptance”. The session will analyze what constitutes an offer and what constitutes an acceptance. Michael Krauss will present the session, "Article 2 (Sales of Goods) of the UCC in Minnesota". The session will discuss the scope of Article 2 as it relates to contracts governed by Minnesota law, contrasted with prior common law applicable to contracts for the sales of goods; the duty of good faith; what are “goods” and how are mixed goods and services agreements handled; and requirements for a meaningful disclaimer of implied warranties. Arleen Nand and Chelsey Hanson will present the session, "Statute of Frauds". The presentation will feature COVID practice tips, plus an overview of a new and important case, Vermillion State Bank v. Tennis Sanitation, LLC. Arleen Nand serves as the program's Course Chair.
