Florida Regulation And Legislation To Watch In 2016

After being snarled in special sessions and acrimony in Tallahassee this past year, Florida lawmakers face an early start in 2016, and experts predict a limited but productive session aimed at water resources, gaming and health care, and finalizing the budget on time.

The DOH's announcement in November that it had, at last, selected five regional distributors under the 2014 law could lead Brandes to back off, Pinsky said, although Gus Corbella, director of the government law & policy practice at Greenberg Traurig LLP, noted that with that step comes protests to the awards.

“I think we’re getting closer, but we’re still kind of mired in the bureaucracy,” Corbella said.
