WARSAW, November 26, 2020 - Greenberg Traurig is acting as legal advisor for Abris CEE Mid-Market Fund III L.P., managed by Abris Capital Ltd., in the acquisition of Scanmed S.A., a leading provider of full profile private medical care operating in 42 locations across Poland.
Abris CEE Mid-Market Fund III, via its portfolio company, entered into a preliminary share purchase agreement with an affiliate of LifeHealthcare Group, for the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Scanmed S.A. The completion of the transaction is subject to customary antitrust clearances and the consent of the South Africa Reserve Bank.
Greenberg Traurig is providing comprehensive legal advice with respect to the transaction. The acquisition of Scanmed Group by Abris CEE Mid-Market Fund III is another example of Greenberg Traurig’s leading position with respect to the recent activity in the private equity sector in Poland.
