NEW YORK – May 14, 2019 – Kristen J. Lonergan, a real estate shareholder in the New York office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP was honored at the Mann Charitable Foundation’s (MCF) “Leading Ladies” on May 13 at the Renaissance Hotel in New York City.
According to MCF, “Leading Ladies” honors the “foremost women executives in the apparel, real estate, hedge fund, and banking industries.”
According to its website, MCF was founded 20 years ago in memory of Marion and Irving Mann. The foundation helps fund research for geriatric diseases with the goal of one day finding a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease. Last year, MCF expanded its initiatives to include Crohn’s and Colitis disease, breast cancer, and liver diseases.
Lonergan provides counsel to REITs, investment funds, developers, lenders, and other clients on the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of multi-family, office, hotel, and other types of properties throughout New York and the rest of the country. She has been recognized among the Top 100 Lawyers in New York and Top 50 Female Lawyers in New York by Super Lawyers magazine. She is a board member for The Child Center of New York; serves on the Real Estate Board of New York; is a member of the Association of Real Estate Women and the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network; and is a fellow of the American Bar Federation.
