Corrine Saylor Davis represents clients ranging from startup to Fortune 100 businesses across various industries in intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on patent litigation involving computer software and other technologies. She has wide-ranging experience leading case teams in complex patent disputes, handling disputes from inception through trial and appeal. Corrine assesses infringement and non-infringement arguments, manages fact and expert discovery, deposes and prepares witnesses, drafts motions and briefs, and conducts negotiations with opposing counsel. She has represented clients in joint defense group strategy sessions and settlement negotiations.

In addition to patent litigation, Corrine counsels clients on a range of IP issues including patent prosecution, inter partes reviews, licensing, acquisitions, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. She drafts and negotiates technology-related agreements, conducts freedom-to-operate analyses, and provides guidance on IP diligence matters. Corrine has experience drafting patent applications and petitions, as well as advising on patentability.

Corrine’s practice also encompasses general commercial litigation matters such as contract disputes, investigations, and negotiations with government entities. She is a certified mediator in Virginia and utilizes facilitative mediation techniques to assist parties in resolving disputes prior to trial. Corrine has mediated cases both in-person and online, coordinating with court staff and drafting settlement agreements.
