Alison R. Weinberg-Fahey focuses on commercial real estate law, with a particular focus on leasing and purchase and sale transactions. Alison counsels clients on a national scale in the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and subleases for office, retail, restaurant, and industrial uses. Alison also advises corporate clients on real estate issues arising in mergers and acquisitions.
Alison’s practice also includes renewable energy and clean technology projects and solar rooftop leases.
Alison’s clients include property owners, operators, banks, developers, insurers, tenants, lenders, and investors with respect to acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development, construction, and workouts for retail, hospitality, office, health care, aviation, residential and restaurant transactions.
Alison is licensed as a real estate broker and formerly as a CPA. Her previous experience also includes serving as associate general counsel for a boutique investment bank in San Francisco, and as a CPA performing audits at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in New York City.

- Acquisition by leading New York based community solar developer and originator of solar project portfolios in Minnesota.
- Acquisition by PBF Energy, large independent petroleum refiner and supplier of transportation fuels, heating oil, and other petroleum products, of the Martinez refinery and logistics assets in California for approx. $1 billion.°
- Disposition by multinational financial services company of 56 single family lots of raw land for development in San Diego County.

- Leasing and subleasing for international law firm across the United States.
- Disposition by hospital system of all of its campuses’ land, buildings, and equipment to Banner Health in Wyoming for approx. $157M.°
- Disposition by multinational insurer of an occupied, single-tenant office building in El Segundo, CA for $30.5M.°
- Negotiation for large real estate investment manager in of construction contract with developer partner for approx. 284 apartment units.°
- Negotiation for dramatical college with multiple developers for the sale of air rights in connection with campus redevelopment.°
