City & State Names Greenberg Traurig Attorneys to its 2022 ‘Long Island Power 100’ List

NEW YORK – Nov. 28, 2022 City & State has named Todd Kaminsky and Mark J. Lesko, shareholders of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, to its 2022 ‘Long Island Power 100’ list.

Kaminsky, a shareholder in the Government Law & Policy Practice of Greenberg Traurig’s Albany office, previously served as a New York State Senator, a federal prosecutor and an assistant district attorney. He has deep legal and subject-matter experience in legislative, regulatory, and public policy issues, with a particular focus on Environmental, Social & Governance matters and advises regulated entities in complex matters before various state agencies. In his role as a New York State Senator, Kaminsky was one of the authors of New York’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act and served as Chair of the Environmental Conservation Committee.

Lesko, a shareholder in the Litigation Practice of Greenberg Traurig’s Long Island office, is a former federal prosecutor and experienced trial lawyer who spent years directing complex legal teams and leading large institutions in the public and private sectors. Lesko most recently served as Acting Assistant Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice, National Security Division, Washington, D.C., and Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, as well as three-time elected Supervisor of the Town of Brookhaven. Lesko also served as Vice President for Economic Development at Hofstra University and as the Executive Director of Accelerate Long Island, an organization formed by the region’s major research institutions to fund and mentor technology-based startup companies.
