NEW YORK – Nov. 1, 2022 – For the second consecutive year, attorneys and business staff in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s U.S. offices will participate in a holiday note writing campaign organized by non-profit GlamourGals. The program, which begins Nov. 1 and lasts through Dec. 31, aims to send thousands of holiday greetings to senior citizens living in isolation.
In support of the program, Greenberg Traurig offices nationwide will host holiday note writing events where attorneys and business staff can gather to create the notes. Last year, the firm’s note-writing campaign contributed to the organization sending more than 70,000 holiday greetings.
“We at Greenberg Traurig are happy to once again join with companies throughout the United States in supporting GlamourGals in its holiday greeting campaign for seniors,” said Paul J. Ferak, co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Financial Services Litigation Practice. “We know that the holidays can be a challenging time for many people and want to do our part to help make it less so, particularly for those senior citizens who are alone.”
GlamourGals is a national organization that organizes teen volunteers via chapters in high schools and colleges throughout the nation to provide companionship and conversation to residents of senior homes in their areas.
