Franca Sonntag

Franca Sonntag is a Senior Associate in GT’s German Corporate/M&A team with extensive experience in advising on national and cross-border transactions. She specializes in M&A deals, including those with distressed aspects, as well as joint venture structuring. Her recent notable work includes advising on the acquisition of a multi-national hotel portfolio and several complex development joint ventures.

In addition to transaction-focused matters, Franca provides strategic guidance on compliance matters, corporate restructuring and general corporate issues.

Franca is listed as a “Notable Practitioner” for M&A by IFLR1000 since 2019. She is also recognized in Best Lawyers – Ones to Watch for M&A, Real Estate, Corporate Law, and Private Equity by Handelsblatt since 2022.
