Greenberg Traurig’s National Security Group serves as trusted advisors to corporations, government contractors, foundations, individuals, and government entities on highly sensitive issues that require both proactive and reactive strategies to navigate the ever-changing national security landscape and its often opaque government processes.
As national security scrutiny intensifies globally for all industry sectors – and particularly for aerospace, defense, energy, manufacturing, artificial intelligence, technology, and other critical infrastructure sectors – clients rely on our experience navigating negotiations, regulatory requirements, and complex and highly sensitive transactions; managing crises and restoring corporate and individual reputations; quarterbacking investigations and litigation; and developing robust compliance programs.
This multidisciplinary group brings together experienced GT lawyers in core disciplines including government procurement, sanctions and export controls, cybersecurity, M&A, and government relations. Our lawyers have experience working at the highest levels of government, including at the Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, Treasury, and Justice, CIA, NSA, U.S. Cyber Command, Congress, and the White House. We help navigate high profile issues before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), and myriad other U.S. and international authorities, including federal agencies, the U.S. Intelligence Community, and Congress. We work with clients at every stage, from Fortune 100 companies to innovative start-ups and global investors, providing quick, practical legal strategies for cross-border matters and national security reviews.
