Tara J. Flanagan focuses her practice on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, representing banks, lending institutions, investors, owners, operators, and developers in a broad range of complex financing matters. Her experience spans pre-development, construction, bridge, and permanent financings, as well as mezzanine loans, note-on-note financings, and preferred equity investments. Flanagan regularly advises lenders and investors on the development, management, and expansion of their loan origination and investment platforms.
Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Flanagan served as a director and in-house counsel at a debt fund, where she worked closely with business teams on the origination and secondary market sale of more than $7 billion in loans. Drawing on this experience, Flanagan provides clients with a practical, business-oriented approach to structuring, negotiating, and executing intricate real estate finance transactions.
