  • Trade remedy proceedings before the U.S. International Trade Commission U.S. Department of Commerce.
  • Appeals before the U.S. Court of International Trade and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
  • Navigate all aspects US trade proceedings involving Section 201, 232, and 301 tariffs.
  • Dispute settlement and resolution panels before the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) (and previously the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)), and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Global Trade Strategy and Import/Export Compliance

  • Advise companies on their import and export practices, identify risks and areas for improvement, assist in developing global trade risk management and compliance programs, and optimize supply chain structures.
  • Provide guidance on trade policy issues involving duties, quotas, and other import restrictions. Assist clients navigating Section 201 duties on solar products, Section 232 duties on steel and aluminum, Section 301 duties on certain Chinese products, and proposed future Section 301 duties on EU products.
  • Advise clients on customs issues such as duty preference and deferral programs, tariff classification, customs valuation and transfer pricing, country of origin marking and labeling, and obtaining Customs rulings.
  • Assist companies in conducting Customs Audits and Importer-Self-Assessments involving complex international trade and customs issues, and preparing prior disclosures.
  • Assist companies in implementing and testing First Sale for Export duty saving programs and advise on facilitating new supply chain structures.

Trade Policy

  • Advise on complex strategic policy issues impacting cross-border trade under US law and trade agreements.
