Mafalda assists Italian and foreign investors in the real estate sector, with a primary focus on logistics, data centers and hospitality. She has worked on a range of transactions, supporting clients in investment and divestment activities involving single assets, asset portfolios, leasing arrangements, interests in real estate investment funds (REIFs), as well as in the establishment and implementation of real estate joint ventures.
Mafalda has also worked on various private M&A transactions, both domestic and cross‑border, with a focus on private equity matters.

- Assistance to a leading luxury hospitality operator in the negotiation and implementation of agreements for (i) the development of new hotels in Italy, including through joint ventures, acquisitions and group reorganizations, and (ii) the development of a luxury train‑tourism project, in Italy and abroad, and the governance of the relationships with the operators and partners involved.°
- Assistance in connection with the acquisition of several lands, both greenfield and brownfield, for the development of logistics real‑estate complexes and the subsequent construction thereof.°
- Assistance to an institutional investor in connection with an equity investment in an operator active in the luxury hospitality and tourism sector.°
- Assistance in connection with the acquisition of the quasi totality of the share capital of an Italian banking institution by an Austrian financial investor.°
- Assistance in connection with the acquisition of 26 logistics assets owned by two companies under extraordinary administration through a joint‑venture structure, and with the subsequent sale of such assets to a U.S. listed private equity fund.°
- Assistance to a U.S. private equity fund in connection with the development of multiple logistics warehouses and the subsequent sale thereof.°
- Assistance to a U.S. private equity fund in connection with the sale of a data center.°
- Assistance in connection with the acquisition, for a consideration of EUR 104 million, of 100% of the share capital of a leading Italian manufacturer of door systems and building solutions for residential and commercial use.°
- Assistance in connection with a EUR 7.8 billion merger by incorporation between two primary operators in the digital payments sector.°
