Curt Ostosh represents private equity sponsors and strategic investors in complex M&A transactions, including take-privates, leveraged buyouts, minority investments, and 363 sale transactions. He advises clients across the deal lifecycle, add-on acquisitions, strategic investments, and general corporate matters.

Curt brings a practical, business-oriented perspective shaped by a secondment as in-house counsel with a major private equity sponsor and prior experience leading treasury and corporate development functions at a Fortune 100 retail holding company. This background allows him to anticipate client priorities and navigate transactions with a focus on execution, risk management, and value creation.

He also counsels portfolio companies on strategic investments, add-on acquisitions, and hybrid capital transactions, and advises on distressed M&A matters. His experience spans multiple sectors, including health care, life sciences, and infrastructure, enabling him to guide clients across a range of deal structures and market conditions.

Curt is a certified mediator in Illinois. Following law school, Curt served as a Public Interest Law Initiative graduate fellow with the Center for Conflict Resolution, where he oversaw a team of volunteer mediators.
