  • Represented Gramercy Capital Corp. as lender in connection with the restructure of over $100 million in mortgage and mezzanine debt.
  • Represented a consortium of investors in their bid to acquire Extended Stay Hotels. Inc.
  • Represented Natixis Real Estate Capital LLC in connection with the origination of a $83.95 million loan first mortgage loan secured by a portfolio of office properties located in Georgia.
  • Represented a joint venture comprised of Taconic Investment Partners, Jamestown Properties and the New York Common Retirement Fund in the sale of one of New York's largest office buildings, 111 Eighth Avenue, to a wholly owned subsidiary of Google - reported to be the largest single-asset sale in the United States in 2010 and the largest-ever acquisition by a tenant/user.
  • Represented SL Green Realty Corp. in connection with its approximately $6 billion merger with Reckson Associates Realty Corporation and related sale of $2.1 billion of real estate assets and loans to RexCorp Realty.
  • Represented Gramercy Capital Corp. in connection with a $163 million mortgage loan secured by the Woodies Building in Washington, D.C.
  • Represented SL Green Realty Corp. in connection with its $918 million acquisition from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of One Madison Avenue and financing with Column Financial Inc., which included numerous levels of mortgage and mezzanine debt.
  • Represented IXIS Real Estate Capital Inc. in connection with the origination of a $200 million of mortgage financing provided for the acquisition of a 40 property commercial office building portfolio consisting of fee and leasehold estates located in Florida and North Carolina.
  • Represented Gramercy Capital Corp. in connection with the closing of two $1 billion Collateralized Debt Obligation securitizations.
  • Represented Taconic Investment Partners LLC in connection with $775 million recapitalization of 111 Eighth Avenue and related $500 million mortgage financing with Greenwich Capital Financial Products Inc.
  • Represented SL Green Realty Corp. in connection with preferred equity investment in and mezzanine financing of the acquisition of a 38-building, 4.7-million square foot office portfolio by The Gale Company.
  • Represented Taconic Investment Partners LLC and the New York State Common Retirement Fund in connection with $112 million acquisition of 450 Park Avenue, New York, New York as well as subsequent $175 million mortgage refinancing with Column Financial Inc.
  • Represented IXIS Real Estate Capital Inc. (formerly CDC Mortgage Capital Inc.) in the closing of a $446 million financing secured by a $364 million mortgage loan encumbering 1440 Broadway and 350 Madison Avenue in New York and 150 West Jefferson in Detroit, Michigan and an $82 million senior mezzanine loan.
