Dinush Wickremanayake is a highly experienced banking and finance lawyer with a strong track record of advising clients on complex cross-border finance transactions across the Middle East and emerging markets, with a particular focus on the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Dinush’s experience includes advising clients on a wide range of syndicated and bilateral loan facilities, including sustainability linked financings, acquisition financings, margin loans, Islamic finance transactions, pre-export and prepayment facilities, ECA-backed financings, and real estate financings, as well as restructurings involving multi-layered capital structures and multiple jurisdictions.
He has a large and diverse client base comprised of global and local financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, governments, hedge funds, as well as private equity firms and large corporates.

- The Oil and Gas Holding Company B.S.C. (nogaholdings): Advised the company on the first ESG, Day 1 SOFR, dual conventional and Islamic financing in the GCC.°
- ADES Arabia: Advised the arrangers on the multibillion dollar conventional and Islamic financing arrangements for ADES’ oil rig operations.°
- Saudi Telecom Company: Advised the arrangers on STC Bahrain’s commodity Murabaha financing.°
- Saudi Electricity Company (SEC): Advised the company on its TLB and RCF financing arrangements.°
- ENBD and FAB: Advised ENBD and FAB on a number of LMA-style financings with large corporates in the UAE.°
- Petrofac: Advised the company on the UAE law aspects of its financing arrangements.°
