Greenberg Traurig Expands Real Estate Practice; Adds Jody Saltzman in New Jersey

NEW JERSEY Jan. 25, 2021 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has deepened its capabilities in New Jersey with the addition of Jody E. Saltzman as a shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate Practice.

“Jody is a sophisticated and experienced real estate attorney who is a natural fit for our growing team. Her impressive client base and extensive experience will expand the depth of our capabilities,” said Philip R. Sellinger and David Jay, co-managing shareholders of Greenberg Traurig’s New Jersey office.

Saltzman joins the firm from K&L Gates, where she was a partner.

Saltzman focuses her practice on real estate matters and has broad experience negotiating commercial leases, subleases, and licenses nationwide for landlords and tenants, including, negotiating office, warehouse, showroom, gallery, restaurant, and retail leases. She also assists clients in reviewing and negotiating architect and construction agreements. Saltzman works with clients from term sheet to build out, evaluating their needs, time constraints, and budget to help them reach their goals.

Saltzman earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and her B.F.A. from New York University.
