Greenberg Traurig’s Seth Entin to Speak at STEP Miami Summit

MIAMI – Oct. 16, 2023 – Greenberg Traurig, P.A. Shareholder Seth J. Entin will speak at the 12th annual STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) Miami Summit in Miami Oct. 20.

The panel, titled “Belgium’s Shot Across the Bow,” will focus on tax information exchange developments in the United States. Entin and a fellow panelist will discuss the future of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, as well as other developments on how the United States is working with other countries under tax information agreements.

The STEP Miami Summit attracts more than 350 professionals from around the globe and is an opportunity for members to build strong business relationships, share their knowledge, and remain up to date on trust and estate developments. STEP is a global professional body comprising lawyers, accountants, trustees, and other practitioners that help families plan their assets across generations.

A member of the Tax Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office, Entin focuses his practice on the international taxation of high-net-worth individuals and families, international corporate taxation, Internal Revenue Service international tax audits, and Internal Revenue Service voluntary disclosures.

A fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel, Seth regularly speaks at national and international tax conferences, including before the American Bar Association (ABA), International Bar Association (IBA), International Fiscal Association (IFA), New York University Tax Institute, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and The Florida Bar. He has also passed the Certified Public Accountant exam.
