Profile
Kristin H. Agnew is a trial lawyer defending employers and corporations in high-stakes labor and employment disputes and complex commercial litigation. She represents clients across a range of industries, including health care, oil and gas, financial services, retail, and real estate, handling matters from pre-suit investigations through jury trial. Kristin leverages her background and experiences to pursue dispositive rulings for her clients, including summary judgments and case dismissals in employment, products liability, and contract disputes.
Kristin’s employment practice centers on defending companies against claims of discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination under Title VII and state law. She regularly plays a lead role or serves as part of national trial teams in single-plaintiff and multidistrict litigation, managing all phases of discovery, depositions, pre-trial motions, and trial preparation. Her commercial litigation work spans trade secret misappropriation, noncompete enforcement, breach of contract, and disputes arising from multimillion-dollar acquisitions.
In addition to her courtroom work, Kristin conducts corporate internal investigations and advises clients on emerging regulatory issues, including the implications of artificial intelligence legislation for employers. She is admitted to practice in Texas and earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
