Kristin focuses her practice on complex business and commercial litigation in the health care, pharmaceutical, real estate, financial services, and oil and gas industries.
Kristin has been part of national trial teams taking high stakes commercial disputes to verdict. Kristin has taken and defended depositions, prepared expert witnesses for trial, and briefed and argued discovery and pre-trial motions.
Prior to joining the firm, Kristin was an associate at a Texas-based law firm where she focused her practice on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and commercial financings. During law school, Kristin served as an intern for the Honorable David Hittner of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Prior to law school, Kristin worked as a commercial real estate appraiser focusing on condemnation and right of way projects.

- Obtained dismissal of case overturning $1.7 million arbitration award for large financial institution client.
- Obtained summary judgment in favor of oilfield services client awarding $50,000 in damages.
- Obtained summary judgment dismissing entire products liability lawsuit brought against multi-national manufacturer of medical devices.
- Lead associate in representation of large oilfield services client in litigation stemming from a multimillion-dollar acquisition including collection and breach of contract disputes.
- Part of national trial team defending multi-national manufacturer of medical devices in multi-district litigation product liability disputes.
- Obtained multiple dismissals and summary judgments on behalf of national mortgage lender in litigation brought by borrowers alleging wrongful foreclosure and debt collection practices, deceptive trade practices and constitutional violations.
- Part of national trial team defending national retailer in premises liability and personal injury litigation.
- Representation of financial institutions in the drafting and negotiation of multimillion-dollar commercial loan facilities.
