Greenberg Traurig Expands Investment Management Group in Philadelphia

Gloria R. Melunis, formerly of PNC Financial Services, joins global firm

PHILADELPHIA - AUGUST 17, 2021 — The Investment Management Group at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has added Gloria R. Melunis in the firm’s Philadelphia office, further strengthening the local team. The group is part of the firm’s 500-plus attorney strong Corporate Practice.

Melunis, who joins as an associate, comes to the firm from PNC Financial Services Group, where she held progressive roles that culminated with counsel in its asset management group. There, she handled an array of matters, from counseling on compliance issues to advising on client-facing digital initiatives to leadership training. She also co-chaired the legal department’s diversity and inclusion council.  

Named by the National LGBT Bar Association as one of 2019’s “40 Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40,” Melunis also serves as vice president of the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund (DVLF). DVLF provides philanthropic support to nonprofits focused on serving LGBTQ+ youth, seniors, community health, arts, and cultural programs.

She earned her degrees from Rowan University and the Rutgers School of Law, where she served as executive editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy. She holds admissions in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
