Greenberg Traurig Represents Affide in Agreement Signed with Carige Group for Acquisition of its Loans Against Pledge Business

MILAN – 25 May, 2022 – Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria assisted Affide (Custodia Valore – Credito su Pegno, Dorotheum Group) in connection with an agreement with Banca Carige regarding the transfer of the Parent Company and Banca del Monte di Lucca’s loans against pledge business. The transaction constitutes the sale of a line of business subject to obtaining the necessary approval by the relevant authorities. The transaction is expected to close during the second half of 2022.

Affide was assisted by Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria on aspects with a team composed of Partner Pietro Caliceti, Senior Associates Dante Campiverdi and Luigi Iovino with Trainee Cecilia di Prisco for due diligence and contracts.
