Elba Gutiérrez was quoted on page 24 of the 2025 Annual Report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Mexico.
Elba, Manager of Greenberg Traurig's Global Pro Bono Program, highlights that “pro bono work is not an act of charity, but a fundamental ethical duty, especially when defending one of the most vulnerable sectors of the 21st century."
She also mentions that “throughout eight years of collaboration with UNHCR, Greenberg Traurig has demonstrated that the private sector can contribute significantly to the protection of human rights, strengthening access to justice and creating a positive impact on the lives of refugees."
